Kraichgau Energie Summertime Triathlon 2026

The Kraichgau Energie Summertime Triathlon takes place in August in Karlsdorf-Neuthard, Baden-Württemberg, featuring a swim in the Sieben-Erlen-See. It offers athletes multiple entry points into the sport: an Olympic distance (1.5 km swim, 40 km cycle, 10 km run), a sprint (0.75 km swim, 23 km cycle, 6.6 km run), and a Jedermann option (0.4 km swim, 13 km cycle, 3.3 km run). A Swim & Bike format is also available, combining the 1.5 km swim and 40 km ride without the run leg. The course follows a straightforward format: swim in the lake, transition, cycle on a closed route, and run to the finish. Both the bike and run segments are noted for their speed, aligning with the event's practical, direct approach. Most participants compete in short-distance categories, with sprint, supersprint, Olympic-distance, relay, and aquabike athletes competing on the same day.
