Main-Post Mainfrankentriathlon 2026

The Main-Post Mainfrankentriathlon takes place in Kitzingen, Bavaria, starting at Oberer Mainkai on the Main river. Participants can choose between the short Triathlon S or the longer Triathlon M, competing individually or as a relay team. The sprint course includes a 0.6 km swim, 20 km bike ride, and 5 km run. The Olympic-distance course consists of a 1.67 km swim, 40 km bike ride, and 10 km run. The race starts with an open-water swim in the Main, followed by cycling and running routes through Kitzingen and the Kitzinger Land region. Approximately 650 athletes have started in past editions, with around 585 finishers. Local mayors have participated, contributing to the event's community feel. Göpfert Agentur is the organizer, and SAS-Zeitmesssysteme manages the timing.
