33. Hofheimer Triathlon 2026

The Hofheimer Triathlon begins with a swim in Ellertshäuser See, then routes athletes by bike toward Hofheim in Lower Franconia, finishing at the Hofheim i. UFr. sports complex. This event is one of Bavaria’s established triathlons, appearing on the schedules of triathletes, clubs, and relay teams for decades. The program offers sprint and Olympic-distance races, plus sprint and short-distance relays, accommodating serious age-group competitors, first-timers, and local teams. The bike course is noted as fast yet challenging, adding difficulty beyond a basic lake-and-town route. Relay racing: three-person teams from clubs, workplaces, friend groups, and families compete for the “Fastest Relay at the Hofheimer Triathlon” title, with reduced entry fees for family relays. The event adheres to DTU rules, employs electronic timing, provides age group rankings, and awards participants trophies, medals, certificates, and a finisher souvenir, with food available in the finish area.
