About this race
MÖRSBACHMÄN is an annual sprint-distance triathlon held in Atzelgift, a village in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. The event follows the short triathlon format, offering athletes a swim, bike, and run without the extensive effort of middle- or full-distance races. It is suitable for experienced triathletes and also for individuals seeking a new challenge over a significant endurance project.
The race takes place in the Rhineland-Palatinate countryside, incorporating nature and local travel into the weekend. Koblenz is nearby and can be visited, particularly the Deutsches Eck where the Rhine and Moselle rivers converge. Eltz Castle is another historical site in the vicinity, and Westerwald Nature Park provides hiking trails for those extending their stay post-race.
