Ziegeleilauf Twistringen 2026 – Jetzt anmelden!

The Ziegeleilauf begins at the Alte Ziegelei, the Old Brickyard on Grabhorststraße in Twistringen, with the first races starting at 10:00 in September. It is a local running and walking event featuring a 5.5 km run, an 11.2 km run, a 5.5 km walking option, and a 22.3 km “Half Marathon Plus” distance. The race centers on the brickyard: the youngest children complete one lap around it, older children run three laps for approximately 1.5 km, and a 500 m inclusion run is available for participants with and without disabilities. This short inclusion race is untimed, without performance pressure, and uses paved ground suitable for wheelchairs. Runners, walkers, families, school groups, seniors, strollers, and dogs are welcome, with food, drinks, and music provided. The event, organized by brennwerk ideen e.V., is in its fourth edition.
