Hauteurs et Vallées is a spring cyclotourism event based in Maurepas, southwest of Paris. Its name reflects the terrain: hills and valleys. Riders gather at CESA Square du Dauphiné, with the event taking place from morning into early afternoon. Cyclotourisme de Maurepas organizes it, providing road cycling and gravel routes. Entry fees are modest, with a small reduction for FFVelo licensed participants.
The routes traverse the Chevreuse Valley, a popular cycling area locally because of its rolling roads and frequent climbs. Recent road route lengths were 46, 64, 80, and 120 km. Gravel routes were 54 or 65 km. Older event details show road, gravel, and mountain bike distances from approximately 40 to 114 km, with elevation gains ranging from about 300 m to over 1,000 m. A communal refreshment stop is located at Boullay-les-Troux. This event has reached its 49th edition.
