14th Xirolivado Mountain Trail Run 14km 2026

The Xirolivado Mountain Trail Run begins at 9:15 AM from the central park of Xirolivado, a village in the Veria region of northern Greece. The primary event is a 14 km mountain trail run featuring 190 meters of elevation gain. This course is characterized as more of a runnable village-and-hills route rather than a lengthy or highly technical mountain race. This marks the race's 14th year, with an entry fee set at 10 euros. The participant limit is 400 runners, and on-site registration is available only if spots remain. Trekking poles are prohibited, and participants may not receive external assistance during the competition. The top male and female finishers will each be awarded 150 euros. Additionally, prizes are designated for the overall top three finishers and the leading runner in each age category. The Running Club of Veria, in collaboration with the Municipality of Veria and OKA Vikelas, is organizing the event. A 1,300-meter children's race for participants aged 7 to 15 is also scheduled for the day.
