The Mytilene Night Race 10K is an evening road race held in Mytilene on Lesbos, beginning and ending at Sappho Square. With a participant limit of 500 across all races, it maintains a local character rather than being a large-scale urban event. Lesvos Runners and the Municipality of Mytilene are the organizers, and participants have 90 minutes to cover the 10 km distance.
The course consists of two circuits through the town's central and waterfront districts. It follows the Tsamakia promenade and the Epano Skala waterfront, makes a turnaround near the Kalamari factory, then proceeds through the Central Market, past the old Town Hall, and along the harbor promenade. Trophies are awarded to the top three male and female finishers overall, as well as to age-group victors. All runners finishing within the time limit receive a commemorative medal. For those traveling from outside Lesbos, ferry discounts are available, facilitating participation for runners coming from other parts of Greece.
