AVERMANN - HORVÁTH 34. HATÁRFUTÁS 2026

Runners begin across the border and conclude at the Barcs Thermal Bath and Recreation Center in Hungary. The Avermann-Horváth Határfutás is a September border run offering two distances: a 21.1 km half marathon starting in Virovitica and a 3 km short course from Terezino Polje. The half marathon commences at the Borac sports field in Virovitica, while the short race begins later from Terezino Polje. Both groups are transported from Barcs to their respective start lines prior to the race. This event marks its 34th year, operates within the European Mobility program, and provides each participant with a branded shirt and commemorative medal. Trophies and medals are awarded to leading finishers in their age groups.
