Aorangi Undulator 2026

The Aorangi Undulator is a point-to-point trail race covering approximately 27km through Aorangi Forest Park in the southern Wairarapa. The remote course begins at Mangatoetoe fishing village and follows rugged tracks across repeated climbs and descents before finishing via the Putangirua Pinnacles.Event OptionsAorangi Undulator – approximately 27km: A demanding wilderness trail race with around 2,000m of elevation gain. The course includes river travel, steep climbs and descents, a narrow ridgeline, off-camber terrain, native vegetation and several false summits.The Aorangi Undulator is suited to experienced trail and mountain runners who are comfortable travelling through remote wilderness and negotiating steep, technical terrain. Participants should be prepared for sustained climbing, exposed sections and limited opportunities for assistance along the point-to-point course.
