Bieg Dożynkowy - Kobylarnia 2026

The Bieg Dożynkowy in Kobylarnia is a small late-summer running and Nordic Walking event held at the village community center on Prosta Street. It features three options: a 10 km run, a 5 km run, and a 5 km Nordic Walking march. The participant limit is 250, plus a small number for guests and sponsors, giving it the feel of a local community race rather than a large urban event. The Municipal Cultural Center in Nowa Wieś Wielka organizes it with the Gmina Office, village groups, local volunteer fire departments, and other partners. The route begins and ends at the community center, with parking on Brzozowa Street. Runners must be at least 16 years old; younger participants may join the Nordic Walking category if accompanied by an adult. Each participant receives a race number, safety pins, and electronic timing. Finishers are awarded a commemorative medal. The race is included in the gmina's sports calendar and has been held for over ten years, with recent fields comprising around two hundred registered starters.
