GO5 is a 5 km road race in Gostyń. The Race Town is located on the town market square, with registration nearby at Restaurant Loft. The route has a PZLA certificate, meaning the distance is measured to Polish athletics standards. The program includes more than just an open run: it features the PZLA Open Polish Men’s 5 km Championships, the Polish Masters Men’s 5 km Championships, and a separate women’s classification.
The course goes through the streets of Gostyń, designed for both competitive racing and local involvement. Runners travel from across Poland, and spectators can watch top athletes and amateurs on the same day. GO5 also offers children’s races before the main awards, with age-group starts over 100 m, 200 m, 400 m, and 1 km. This allows toddlers, school-age children, club runners, masters athletes, and supporters to gather in the town center.
