Duathlon im. Gen Franciszka Kleeberga

The Duathlon du général Franciszek Kleeberg takes place in Wola Gułowska, a village in Łuków County, Lublin Voivodeship, Poland, typically near the end of April. The primary event is a run-bike-run duathlon covering 5 km running, 20 km cycling, and a concluding 2.5 km run. This event is part of the Gen. Kleeberg Memory Runs, combining a test of endurance with a commemoration of wartime figures. The course requires both running speed and cycling power, offering more variety than a typical road race. Separate memory runs for children and youth in distinct age groups ensure the day includes participants of all ages. The event is named in honor of General Franciszek Kleeberg. Its location is significant: Wola Gułowska is connected to the history of Kleeberg’s troops and the final engagement of the September Campaign, with a local museum detailing this history.
