About this race
The Wisła Extreme Duathlon is an early-season mountain duathlon held in Wisła, a town within the Silesian Beskids. The race starts at the Ecological Education Center in Wisła Jonidło, following a run-bike-run structure: mountain running, road cycling, and a final run. This is a challenging event, featuring significant elevation gain rather than a flat, fast course.
Participants can select from two distances. The M route covers approximately 5 km running, 32 km cycling, and a 5 km run to finish. The L route increases the initial run to about 13 km and the cycling leg to roughly 68 km, followed by the same 5 km final run. The event is part of a larger series, with support from the City of Wisła, attracting endurance athletes seeking a rigorous Beskid training session before the primary competition season.
