Gorlicki Bieg Górski 2026

Gorlicki Bieg Górski is a small mountain-running series in the Low Beskids, featuring forest trail races around Radocyna and a separate uphill Vertical race on Magura Małastowska. Participants can choose from three formats: a 7 km trail race with 160 m of elevation gain, a 24 km race with 610 m of elevation gain, or a 2.3 km Vertical that ascends 340 m in one effort. The Radocyna races begin at the State Forests training and recreation center, while the Vertical starts near the Magura Ski Park station in Małastów on the second day of the event. The longer Radocyna route reaches Beskid, also known as Koczerha, at 692 m above sea level, while the Vertical finishes higher, at 785 m. Field sizes are limited: 150 spots for the 7 km, 250 for the 24 km, and 150 for the Vertical, making it a more local and compact event than a large city race. Each race has a five-hour time limit, accommodating both steady mountain runners and faster competitors. The series is in its eleventh edition, provides cash and material prizes, and offers free entry to elite runners with over 730 points in the RMT ranking.
