Summer sessions suit canal Z2, park intervals, evening runs, and longer gran fondo miles before the trails get too overgrown. Winter turns the city colder and cloudier, with occasional snow and frost. January and February sit around 5°C, so locals swap fast trail plans for steadier roads, cyclocross grit, and careful base miles.
