Courses de Half Marathon près de Cromwell

Le Cromwell Half Marathon, c'est un semi-marathon de 21.1 km qui se déroule le long du Lake Dunstan Cycle Trail en Central Otago. Le départ est donné à 10h00, et il propose aux coureurs un parcours plat avec un faible dénivelé. En plus du semi-marathon solo, tu as aussi un 10 km course/marche et un semi-marathon en relais. Le parcours du semi-marathon est un aller-retour sur une piste large et bien entretenue le long du Lake Dunstan, avec des vignobles et des montagnes tout autour. Que tu sois en solo, en équipe de relais, marcheur ou sur le 10 km, tout le monde profite du même cadre au bord du lac. Le relais, lui, prévoit des passages d'équipes pendant la course.

Race packs and late entries are available the afternoon before the event. A briefing will occur on race morning, and prize-giving commences at the course cut-off time.

The Clyde Classic is a running and walking event in Clyde, a former gold-mining town in Central Otago, New Zealand. It offers a half marathon, 10K, 5K, and a kids race, with every distance starting and finishing at Clyde Primary School. The half marathon is a 21.1 km run-only race, while the 10K and 5K are open to both runners and walkers. The course uses Clyde’s old town streets, crosses the Contact Energy Clyde Dam, and follows tracks beside the Clutha River. Le Queenstown Marathon, c'est une course à pied qui a lieu chaque année dans le district de Queenstown Lakes en New Zealand. Tu as le choix entre un marathon de 42km, un half marathon de 21km, une course de 10km, et une Kids Run de 2.2km. C'est ASICS qui présente l'événement, ce qui est cool car ça propose plusieurs distances aux participants au lieu de se focaliser uniquement sur le marathon complet. Le parcours est majoritairement plat, avec environ 70% de chemin compacté et 30% de route, ce qui le rend différent d'un marathon sur route classique. Il traverse Millbrook Resort, Arrowtown, Lake Hayes, la Shotover River, Lake Wakatipu, et les Queenstown Gardens, pour finir dans le centre de Queenstown avec des vues sur les chaînes de montagnes Crown et Remarkables.
