The Ortsstrassenlauf in Wernberg-Koblitz is a road race held on a Friday evening, starting at the Grund- und Mittelschule in Unterkoblitz. TSV DETAG Wernberg e.V. is the organizer. The event includes a 500 m Bambini run for young children, student races, a 3.25 km hobby run, and a 10 km main race for adults and U20 runners. The course is a flat asphalt loop passing through all three parts of Wernberg-Koblitz, with participants completing laps based on their chosen distance. Most races begin and end in front of the school. The 10 km race starts 200 meters away and consists of three laps plus an additional section. The hobby run is timed but not part of the OVL-Cup and lacks age-group scoring, offering a less competitive option alongside the main program.
