The Eberbacher Sprint- und Jedermanntriathlon is a short triathlon in Eberbach, Baden-Wurttemberg, set along the Neckar River and the hills of the Kleiner Odenwald. Competitors swim 700 meters in the Neckar with the current, cycle 22.2 kilometers on the road to Schwanheim and back, and complete a 6-kilometer run along the Neckar cycle path. Separate results are provided for licensed triathletes and everyday competitors, and relay teams are also welcome.
The event begins near the Sportgelande in der Au, maintaining a club-level atmosphere rather than a large-scale production. Approximately 250 participants are anticipated, creating a manageable field size that still offers the benefit of following other athletes. Jedermann competitors and age-group athletes compete on the same day, appealing to those testing their fitness, seeking a compact triathlon, or aiming for a competitive race without the need for a large surrounding event.
