14. GEWOBA City Triathlon Bremen 2026

The GEWOBA City Triathlon Bremen takes place in Bremen’s Überseestadt, with the race hub at the head of Europahafen harbour. It offers three main distance options: a Volkstriathlon with 500 m swimming, 20 km cycling, and 5 km running; a sprint race with 750 m swimming, 20 km cycling, and 5 km running; and an Olympic-distance race with 1.5 km swimming, 40 km cycling, and 10 km running. Relay entries are available, catering to both solo triathletes and teams. The route begins at Hansator gate, circles the Europahafen marina, proceeds along Hafenrandstrasse to a turning point near the Waterfront complex, and returns through Überseestadt. Approximately 1,100 athletes are anticipated, ranging from enthusiastic amateurs to seasoned triathletes. The event includes championship races, awarding Bremen state titles on the Olympic and short distances, a German Deaf Triathlon Championship on the Olympic distance, and German age-group sprint titles. Spectators can gather around the harbour hub, which hosts the start, finish, catering, presenter, DJ, and children’s activities.
