Stadtwerke Düsseldorf Familientriathlon 2026

The Stadtwerke Düsseldorf Familientriathlon is a small family triathlon in Düsseldorf, held in July and focused on very short youth races. Its smallest category is for children aged 6-7, who swim 50 meters and run 200 meters with no bike leg, meaning the event starts at a beginner level rather than at adult endurance level. The distances increase by age group: ages 8-11 swim 50 meters, bike 2.5 km, and run 400 meters, while ages 12-17 race 150 meters in the water, 5 km on the bike, and 1 km on foot. A Jedermann/age-group relay is also offered over the same 150 m swim, 5 km bike, and 1 km run, allowing families or mixed teams to share the disciplines. Freie Schwimmer Düsseldorf 1910 organizes the race, and the event is part of the Nordrhein-Westfälischer Triathlon-Verband calendar.
