Rhein City Run
The Rhein City Run is a point-to-point half marathon starting at the Theodor-Heuss-Brücke in Düsseldorf and ending in Duisburg-Huckingen on Hermann-Spillecke-Straße. It takes place in late October with a morning start, typically attracting a few thousand participants. The course heads north along the Rhine from Düsseldorf, utilizing the promenade, paved roads through fields, and waterside paths toward Duisburg. Participants will pass under the A44 bridge, go through Kaiserswerth near the Burghof and Kaiserpfalz, proceed toward Wittlaer, and then follow a trail past Landhaus Milser and Angerbach. The event, organized by Bunert Events GmbH, has been held annually since 2016 and provides aid stations at approximately 6 km, 11 km, and 17 km.
