レースについて
In Loutraki, Greece, the 48-hour race challenges runners to continuously move for two full days as part of the International Ultramarathon Festival. The program also features 24-hour and 12-hour World Cup races, structuring the weekend around timed ultrarunning instead of fixed-distance road races. The 48-hour race commences in the afternoon, with the shorter timed races starting later in the festival.
The event is headquartered at the stadium, allowing runners to register up to three hours before their race and pay their entry fee on site. Participants receive a timing chip, bib, and event T-shirt, with stadium accommodation provided for those who bring a sleeping bag and mattress. Loutraki is accessible by train from Athens Airport. Expected conditions are warm, around 20-30°C, and every finisher is awarded a medal and diploma, alongside additional prizes for the top three men and women in each race.
