Bieg Sobiborski is a memorial road race in eastern Poland, starting at the Sobibór memorial site and proceeding toward Włodawa in Lublin Province. The primary event is a half marathon (21.0975 km), organized by the Municipal Sports and Recreation Center in Włodawa. It features chip timing, kilometer markers, a 3.5-hour limit, and a field limited to 200 runners. The race's full name honors victims of the former Nazi extermination camp at Sobibór, giving it a historical purpose alongside its sporting one.
The route begins at the Museum and Memorial Site in Sobibór, passing through Żłobek, Sobibór, Wołczyny, and Orchówek before arriving in Włodawa. It crosses railway line no. 81 twice. Previous editions used a shorter Sobibór-Włodawa course, and one event attracted around 500 participants in total. The program also includes school races on city streets, open categories for women and men, and wheelchair categories using standard chairs. Half marathon finishers receive a commemorative medal, reflecting the race’s dual role as a local running event and an act of remembrance.
