Krynica Maraton Górski is a three-day running festival in Krynica-Zdrój, a spa town in southern Poland near Jaworzyna Krynicka. The event offers nearly 30 races from Friday to Sunday, including 1 km children’s runs to 100 km mountain ultras, attracting over 10,000 participants. It is structured as a festival: children race on the Krynica promenade, road runners compete for fast times, Nordic walkers have championship events, and ultra runners tackle mountain courses for the longest distances.
The main mountain race is Bieg 7 Dolin, a 100 km ultra starting before dawn, also available in 64 km, 34 km, and a 17 km Runek Run. The course network extends to Rytro, Piwniczna, Szczawnik, Muszyna, and Jaworzyna. The road program features the Koral Marathon, a half marathon, a marathon relay, and the Życiowa Dycha, a fast point-to-point 10 km with 1,500 finishers. Participants range from children and first-timers to Polish and international elites, with Marcin Świerc associated with Bieg 7 Dolin. The festival includes the Tie Run, Costume Run, Family Night Run, Fan Run, sports fairs, lectures, and meetings with professionals and athletes like Marcin Lewandowski and Artur Kozłowski.
