Letni Ultra Świr is a summer mountain-running event in Ptaszkowa, Poland, built around one 17 km loop. Runners can choose a single loop or time-based races of 6, 12, or 24 hours, so the same route works for people aiming for a hard short mountain run and for ultrarunners trying to stack as many laps as they can. The race is run in late August and is organized by Fundacja Małopolska Biega.
The loop gains about 650 meters over 17 km, with an average gradient of 4%, which puts the main race in the RMT2 mountain-running category. The timed formats also use the 17 km loop, so the 24-hour race is less about one long point-to-point journey and more about repeated climbs, pacing, and deciding how much of Ptaszkowa’s hills you can handle. The event is part of the Ranking Biegaczy Górskich, and a recent edition had 71 starters from 78 registered runners.
