Lubańskie Biegowisko is a street race series in Lubań, Lower Silesia, featuring a half marathon, an open 10 km run, and a 5 km Nordic Walking event. The adult races are held alongside children’s and youth races, as well as races for individuals with intellectual disabilities, meaning the day accommodates multiple distances and participant types. Children’s and youth events commence earlier than the main adult races, with distances tailored to age categories.
The routes incorporate Kamienna Góra Park and ul. Sybiraków, extending towards Przylasek. Start and finish areas are situated near these points, varying by event. The course combines asphalt roads with gravel paths, and certain sections are out-and-back loops returning to the start/finish line. The 5 km run and Nordic Walking route has utilized a 1250-metre loop within Kamienna Góra Park, completed four times. Aid stations and medical support are provided along the course, and the half marathon route is not PZLA-certified. The organizers include the City of Lubań, the Municipal Sports and Recreation Center in Lubań, and Decathlon Zgorzelec. One edition is named Bieg dla Niepodległej, or Run for Independence.
