Race Through Poland 2026

Race Through Poland is a self-supported long-distance cycling series in Poland. Brevet rides begin and end in Janowice Wielkie, with the main race covering approximately 1,500 km between control points. Shorter brevets offer road and gravel options around 100 and 200 km, plus a 1,000 km road ride. They follow the classic brevet principle: ride the route, verify each checkpoint, and finish within the time limit. Unlike a typical bike race, the brevet aspect focuses on completion, not placement; finishing is the achievement, regardless of whether riders travel solo or in groups. The race emphasizes mountain riding, particularly in Polish and adjacent border ranges. Its Carpathian route areas encompass Beskid Żywiecki, Beskid Wyspowy, Beskid Sądecki, Gorce, Pieniny, the Low Tatras, Spisz, and Orawa. Riders should anticipate extended climbs, secluded roads, and the need for precise navigation, rather than closed-road support. Each brevet rider receives a card with checkpoint directions, and the events are recognized by Audax Club Parisien.
