Runners are treated to open views of Anglesey, Snowdonia, and the North Wales coastline before the course transitions to woodland paths and makes its way back to the finish. All finishers will receive a custom medal and a technical T-shirt. Participants should arrange their own pay-and-display parking in town, as there is no designated event parking.

The Abergele 5K & 10K begins and ends on the promenade at Abergele/Pensarn, situated on the North Wales coast. This is a single-day road race offering both 5K and 10K distances, designed for runners seeking a flat, quick course with a simple layout. Run Wales, the organizer, targets club runners aiming for a personal best and casual runners desiring a clear coastal race. The event originated as a substitute for the Rhyl 10K before becoming a permanent fixture and introducing a 5K option. Participants can choose a single distance or complete both on the same day, with a reduced entry fee for the combined option. All finishers are awarded a unique medal and a technical T-shirt; those completing both distances receive a special package including the double medal and technical T-shirt.

The Jones o Gymru Anglesey Trail Half Marathon & 10K begins in Gwalchmai, near Holyhead on Anglesey, in early March. Participants select either the half marathon or the 10K. The route is undulating, suitable for early-season races and marathon preparation. The course offers runners clear views towards Eryri, also known as Snowdonia, and the Menai Straits. Participants travel from across the UK. First-time runners, charity fundraisers, and experienced athletes start together. The minimum age is 17.

The Nick Beer Llandudno 10K begins on Llandudno’s Victorian promenade and sends runners around the Great Orme, the headland that rises above the North Wales coast. It is a 10K road race with a long local history, now in its 35th year, and it draws hundreds of runners rather than a small specialist field. The route circles the Great Orme, with open views toward Eryri (Snowdonia), Anglesey, and the wider coast. North Wales Road Runners previously managed the race, and the event still supports the club. It is also run as a not-for-profit event, with money continuing to help local charities.

The Nick Beer Llandudno 10K begins on Llandudno's Victorian promenade and takes runners around the Great Orme, the headland adjacent to the North Wales resort town. This road 10K is an early-season event, with hundreds of runners returning annually. The route encircles the Great Orme, offering expansive views across to Eryri (Snowdonia), Anglesey, and further afield in clear weather. North Wales Road Runners formerly organized the event, which continues to be not-for-profit, with ongoing support for local charities and the club.
