Beneath Solymár Castle, on the edge of the Buda hills, this second-edition trail race offers an authentic outdoors experience. The routes utilize “close-to-nature paths,” with varied distances and age categories suitable for a challenging effort, a family outing, or a relaxed run, distinct from a road PB day.
Expect a blend of forest dirt road and asphalt sections, with the course marked by painted arrows, ribbons, and signs. The participants range from children and beginners to runners over 60 and those seeking a rugged experience. The finish includes standard amenities: timing, medals, shirts, food, and photos. A notable aspect is the environmentally conscious setup, which suits the location better than excessive race-day materials.
