The GSYSTEMS-Koberbachtal-Triathlon - ED & Kids takes place in early June in Werdau, within Saxony's Langenhessen district. The schedule focuses on short races, including children’s events, school competitions, relay choices, and supersprint races for general participants and age-group athletes. SV Sachsen 90 Werdau is the organizer, and this marks the 16th edition listed in the official German triathlon calendar.
The shortest format, Schüler C for ages 8 and 9, involves a 100 m swim, 2.5 km bike ride, and 400 m run. The Jedermann supersprint consists of a 400 m swim, 10 km cycle, and 2.5 km run. School races feature JtfO Schüler categories and are part of the DTU Triathlon-Schultour. Consequently, the day caters to young and novice racers as well as experienced triathletes seeking a brief competition.
