Regiomed Main Triathlon is a Whit Sunday triathlon in Altenkunstadt, Bavaria, organized by TV Strössendorf. It gives athletes two race choices: Triathlon S, with a 500 m swim, 20 km bike ride, and 7 km run, and Triathlon M, with a 1.5 km swim, 40 km bike ride, and 10 km run. Both distances are offered for individuals and relay teams, so the day works for solo amateurs, age-group racers, and groups splitting the swim, bike, and run between teammates.
The event is built around practical racing rather than spectacle: short-course fields are expected to draw a few hundred individual athletes, while each relay format adds another team crowd. It also hosts the International German Championship for Para-Triathlon, which gives the meeting a stronger competitive edge than a small local triathlon usually has. The motto, "Connecting people with each other!", fits the mix of para athletes, club racers, relay teams, and local age-group competitors sharing the same Altenkunstadt race day.
