XC Series 2026 - Race One

The NMTBC Cross Country series comprises three mountain bike races held from September to November. The first race takes place at the Groom Creek XC Course. Subsequent rounds will be held at Kaiteriteri and Silvan, offering participants three distinct local trail experiences instead of a single repeated course. Race day activities are scheduled tightly: sign-in opens at 9:00am, followed by a briefing at 9:45am. Racing commences at 10:00am, with the finish expected around 11:00am. Online registration is required by 3:00pm the preceding day, with payment due in cash on race day. NMTBC members receive reduced entry fees, family caps are available, and all funds raised support trail repair and maintenance. E-bikes are permitted in the races but are ineligible for trophy awards. Categories range from junior divisions to Open and Masters, with age classifications determined by the rider's age at the year's end.
