Melbourne City Race 2026

TUE, November 3, 2026 · Melbourne , Australia

About this race

Starting from the 4th Williamstown Sea Scouts hall on The Strand, the Melbourne City Race moves directly into Williamstown Seaport, a place where "seafaring history is alive and well." This is MCR7, a run-with-a-map event navigating Nelson Place, Point Gellibrand, and the Timeball Tower. Along the way, ships, yachts, piers, pubs, and parks will vie for your attention, testing your focus. The running itself is only part of the challenge; a full-colour detailed map, smart route decisions, and composed thinking are more critical than raw speed. This event is suitable for sporting teams, social groups, schools, scouts, families, beginners, younger participants, and anyone unfamiliar with navigation. Participants can choose to "mix it up; be as competitive or as casual as you like." The Indoor Race Hub consolidates check-in, bag drop, the finish line, and presentations, offering additional benefits such as "free post race massages" and a Team Challenge to accumulate points for your team.
