Mini Muddies Mud Obstacle Race
Saturday, September 12, 2026 · Tamworth, Australia
About this race
Bear Mountain gives this mud run its teeth: high-altitude trails, mud, and obstacles stacked into a "mountain-sized challenge." Set against Big Bear Lake and the rugged alpine backdrop, it feels less like a polished road event and more like a day where the hill keeps asking what you have left.
The course leans hard into the terrain: "thin air will test your lungs," "steep climbs will torch your legs," and the "crisp alpine views" are the reward when you finally look up. Expect obstacle staples like The Block Ness Monster, Devil's Beard, and Funky Monkey, with military, first responders, VIP groups, spectators, and regular mudders all mixing in around Mudder Village. Cross the finish and the ritual is simple: collect the medal, shirt, orange headband, and a free finisher beer or seltzer after getting "soaked, shocked, and thoroughly humbled."
