The Woolooma Classic
Saturday, September 12, 2026 · Belltrees Road, Australia
About this race
Belltrees serves as the start for a demanding adventure run across rugged terrain, the kind of event where footwear is crucial and your legs quickly reveal the day's challenge. The Woolooma Classic proceeds toward Mt Woolooma via paved and unpaved roads, fire tracks, river crossings, and steep, rocky trails. It is described as a “true test of endurance,” intended specifically for experienced trail runners, not for those seeking a leisurely morning.
The Woolooma Glass House at the summit is the course’s main landmark, marking the halfway point. It provides facilities, water, and “breathtaking views” before the return leg through challenging terrain. Several checkpoints offer water refills and assistance, though participants must still carry essential safety equipment. The varied terrain necessitates trail shoes with “excellent grip”; poles are also recommended. The run benefits the KIDS Foundation, with the motto “doing it for those who can’t” lending additional purpose to the effort.
