About this race
Parramatta Park does most of the work here: a fast, flat three-lap circuit on sealed cycle and pedestrian paths, starting near Noller Footbridge and rolling through heritage-listed parklands by the Parramatta River. Western Sydney 10: Parramatta feels like a practical monthly hit-out rather than a big-production race, with open grasslands, established trees, and riverside views giving each lap enough shape to stop it feeling like a grind.
The loop finishes in front of the George Street gatehouse, so supporters can see you more than once without having to sprint across the park themselves. The smooth, pram-friendly surface and sheltered path network suit all runners, especially anyone lining up PB attempts, though the exposed sections can be challenging on windy days.
