Running: Pau runners keep the week simple at ASM PAU, the family-style club created in 1988 with over 250 members. The club meets Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30 PM and 6:30 PM at Stade d'Athlétisme André Lavie, with coached sessions and weekend threshold work. Courir en famille - Pau gives the city an easy anchor event. Trail Nocturne de Gelos, Courir à Jurançon, Les 10 km de Jurançon, Run in Billère, and the Bizanos races keep the calendar busy. The Bizanos race loop runs 5 km of tarmac and 50 m of D+ per lap.

Cycling: Pau riders get the good split: Gave de Pau River paths for an easy spin, then Pyrenees climbs when Z2 turns into a proper day out. Cyclo Club Béarnais has been around since 1933, and Véloce club béarnais sits in the same local cycling world.
