The II Oławski Bieg Niepodległości is a 10 km Independence Run in Oława, a town near Wrocław in Lower Silesia, Poland. It is held on November 11, Poland’s National Independence Day, and the race marks the country’s regaining of independence through a straightforward community road run rather than a large-city spectacle.
The route goes through the Oława district, keeping the event local to the town and its surrounding county. Over 100 runners have participated, with white-and-red accents around the start area and a mix of competition, smiles, and patriotic celebration. The race has also included a charity collection for Aurora’s treatment, with Izabela Sobek listed as the women’s winner and Damian Prakucz as the men’s winner.
