Kresowe Trail - LETNIKI directs runners into the Knyszyn Forest near Dobrzyniewo Duże, with trees present from the start and throughout the course. This trail race offers two distances: Szpurt at 7 km and Wertep at 17.7 km. The longer route has a 2 hour 15 minute time limit, making it suitable for runners accustomed to steady movement on varied forest terrain, rather than exclusively flat roads. The course crosses less-traveled forest edge paths, featuring a shifting surface, ascents, sandy sections, and areas requiring careful footing. Wertep includes at least one aid station, and the finish provides water and a recovery meal, with a non-meat choice available. The race employs electronic timing, clear course marking, medical support, and photography. Participants should carry a water bottle or cup and have the route accessible on a GPS device or phone.
