Poznański Bieg Niepodległości 2026

The Poznań Independence Run is a November 11 race in Poznań, held at Polana przy Plaży Malibu by Lake Strzeszyńskie. It features 5 km and 10 km distances and is part of the Poznań Running Triad series, integrating into the local running calendar. The event is limited to 750 paid participants across both distances. Adults and runners over 15 with parental consent may enter. The current lakeside event maintains a straightforward setup: the race center houses the start, finish, race office, and baggage drop, with the route marked by tape and cones. Participants can run or walk, and there is no time limit, offering a more relaxed format than strict road racing. Previous editions of the Poznań Independence Run used a certified 10 km loop through city streets, beginning on Niepodległości Avenue and ending on Święty Marcin Street; the inaugural event attracted 2,500 participants, making it the largest Independence Run in Wielkopolska. Finishers receive a commemorative medal, a personalized bib, drinks, and traditional sweets.
