MTB Kamieńsk is a July mountain-bike race held at Góra Kamieńsk in Kamieńsk, Poland, situated on the highest mountain in central Poland. Participants select between a Hobby distance of approximately 25-26 km and a Mega distance of about 50-52 km. The Hobby route includes around 630 m of climbing, and the Mega route ascends to approximately 1,200 m. This race offers significant elevation gain within a contained area, distinct from a flat course. The course utilizes the ski-slope area of Góra Kamieńsk; one past event involved ascending the slope three times. The participant limit is set at 150, and previous editions have neared this cap. Categories include age groups, a team classification, and junior races under the MTB Kamieńsk Junior banner. A notable feature is the "Danielo" prize, awarded on a specific section of the ski slope, creating a distinct challenge within the main race.
Góra Kamieńsk defines Ultra Kamieńsk: runners and mountain bikers compete on the same active-recreation hill near Kamieńsk in Łódzkie Voivodeship, central Poland. The winter Trail Kamieńsk provides 7 km, 14 km, and 30 km mountain runs, while MTB Kamieńsk includes summer bike racing originating from the OSiR Góra Kamieńsk area. Trail Kamieńsk is a well-attended winter mountain-running event in central Poland, now in its tenth edition. The running courses remain on Góra Kamieńsk, featuring approximately 300 m of elevation change on the 7 km course, 453 m on the 14 km course, and 957 m on the 30 km course. The shorter trail distances have a limit of 100 participants each, while the 30 km permits 200; the MTB races are smaller, with 75 entries for each of the approximately 26 km Hobby and 53 km Mega distances. The bike event has strict cutoffs of 2 hours 30 minutes for Hobby and 4 hours 30 minutes for Mega, with its race office located in tents near the lower cable car station. A unique MTB feature is the “DANIELO” mountain bonus, a separate classification on the ski slope for each distance. Stowarzyszenie Bądź Aktywny organizes Trail Kamieńsk with OSiR Góra Kamieńsk, and the Kamieńsk mayor acts as patron.
Running: Locals run Radomsko like a small scene, with Biegacze w Radomsku as the first and biggest running crew under Kolarsko-Biegowy Klub Sportowy Radomsko. The Radomka river gives easy town miles, and the forests near Wymysłówek district suit steady Z2 when the legs need quiet. Akademia KBKS Radomsko brings in beginners, so intervals do not feel like a closed shop. Radomszczański Bieg Niepodległości anchors the calendar with a 10 km hit, and Esbank Go7 Radomszczański Festiwal Kolarsko Biegowy keeps the run-bike crowd in one place.
Cycling: Rowerzyści w Radomsku carry the road and MTB side, and locals know them as the only official cycling club in Radomsko. Pierzchalski Cycling Team adds the family road-and-mountain vibe, while Kolarsko-Biegowy Klub Sportowy Radomsko keeps the whole thing tied together. Gora Kamiensk is where the climbing lives, and Aktywny Weekend na Gorze Kamiensk 5mtb Kamiensk Mega makes that clear. Radomszczańskie MTB, Radomszczański Duathlon, Rajd Rowerowy Śladami Władysława Reymonta, and 2. Nocny Rajd Rowerowy give riders enough targets for base miles, a crit mood, or gran fondo legs.
Season: May feels useful because Wings for Life World Run brings runners to Radomsko on May 10, 2026, and the loop runs through forests near Wymysłówek district. The Virtual Catcher Car starts 30 minutes after the 1:00:00 PM UTC gun at 14 km/h, so pacing matters from the first steady block. Summer keeps both sports pointed toward local festivals, MTB days, duathlon starts, and longer rides out of town. Winter changes the rhythm, with runners keeping the base, cyclists picking their days, and Morsy w Radomsku saying it straight: a zimą morsujemy.
