Cloquet River Run

The Cloquet River Run begins and ends at Churchill Elementary. A 1-mile run/walk starts at 9:00 a.m., followed by a 5K run/walk at 9:30 a.m. This Cloquet, Minnesota event, held annually since 2007, is designed for runners and walkers of all ages, not exclusively for competitive racers. Both distances feature USATF-certified courses, ensuring accurate measurement. Churchill P.I.E. manages the races, with proceeds benefiting Churchill Elementary's wellness and education initiatives, including playground equipment, healthy snacks, health programs, and technology. Over 300 participants attend, creating a community morning atmosphere alongside the race.

NCTRaces: 15x is a last-runner-standing race held at Palmer's Landing in Solon Springs, Wisconsin. It is part of the NCTRaces trail-running series, which focuses on small-field events near Lake St. Croix and the North Country Trail area. The format is straightforward: runners continue until only one remains. Trail Life Inc. manages the race series and offers coaching. Their mission centers on encouraging people to use trails, establish running objectives, and provide support for trail systems.

On Thanksgiving morning in Duluth, Minnesota, the Gobble Gallop sends Northland runners out before the holiday meal.
