Les coureurs du coin ne se compliquent pas la vie ici, ils font leurs base miles autour de Tradition, Green River Drive, Green River Parkway, Crosstown et Jaycee park. Tradition, c'est super ombragé, et Green River Drive, de Jensen Beach Blvd jusqu'à Walton Rd, tu as un trottoir pavé le long du savanna park. Green River Parkway, c'est un peu moins de 4 miles de Walton Rd à Jensen Beach Blvd, et les coureurs peuvent faire 8 miles aller-retour. Fleet Feet Port St. Lucie organise le run de groupe du lundi soir à 6:30 PM. Le calendrier des courses locales, c'est le Crosstown Shamrock 5K, le Freedom Run 5K at Tradition, le Juneteenth 5K et le Dreamin' of the Keys 5K.

Pour le vélo, si tu veux sentir la côte, c'est vers l'est sur Highway A1A, avec des pistes cyclables dédiées dans les deux sens. La route fait 4 miles, principalement du gravel et de la terre, avec un peu de bitume. L'été, les max moyennes sont dans les low 90s, alors les coureurs et les cyclistes partent tôt, gardent leurs bidons à portée de main et respectent l'humidité. 5 inches de précipitations par an, et l'été change plus le rythme que les parcours. Le sable de la plage à Fort Pierce ou Jensen Beach, ça marche toujours si tu veux un run plus difficile sans chercher des collines.
