Operation Veteran and Caregiver Support 5k Hero Harvest Fun Run
Hero Harvest is a 5k fun run in Piqua, Ohio, held in October at Lock 9 Park, following a Veteran Ceremony. The race is sponsored by Operation Veteran and Caregiver Support. Every entry fee supports its programs for veterans, military families, widows, and active duty service members from all branches.

Scouting's Meecheway 5K Trail Run - COLOR RUN VOL. 3 is a 5K trail race held in October in Defiance, Ohio, beginning at 2180 Ginter Road. This event supports the Scouting movement and is presented as a color run, distinct from a standard road 5K.

Horseshoe Hill Climb
The Horseshoe Hill Climb is a trail race at Marmon Valley Farm near Zanesfield, Ohio, approximately 45 minutes northwest of Columbus. The race utilizes the farm’s private trail network instead of paved roads, so participants should anticipate dirt, grass, uneven terrain, creek crossings, and mud if conditions are wet.
The course is structured around a 10K loop crossing bridle trails, farm lanes, open meadows, hardwood forest, ravines, fields, creeks, and scenic overlooks across Marmon Valley Farm’s extensive acreage. The event generates funds for summer horse camp scholarships, enabling children from economically disadvantaged families to attend camp; runners can also contribute to this cause by supporting Team Wrangler. Awards are presented to the top male and female finishers in each distance category, and the participants generally consist of trail runners seeking a challenging, unpaved farm course rather than a road race focused on personal bests.
Braden Kramer Foundation- Beer Chase 5K
The Findlay Beer Chase 5K is a timed 5K in Findlay, Ohio, starting and finishing at Findlay Brewing Co. The race centers on a chase: run the 5K and try to beat the “beer” to the finish. Registration includes timing, a race shirt (while supplies last), and a pint voucher for runners 21 and older. The event also features a Super Hero Kids Dash and a volunteer 5K supporting the Braden Kramer Foundation.
The course runs through the area surrounding the brewery, with East Crawford Street closed during the event. Dash Before the Game Day Bash
Dash Before the Game Day Bash is a 5K in West Liberty, Ohio, held at 9:00 a.m. on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. This race is the rebranded version of the West Liberty Luminary Race. It features a flat, fast course and takes place on the same day downtown hosts its pre-parade 5K before the Village Christmas Parade.
The route runs in and around West Liberty, following a path similar to the old Luminary Route, but it avoids Route 68. Runners can register on race morning. I miei chilometri a Lima e i giorni di gara
Lima ospita 49 gare di 5K nel 2026 entro 80 km dal centro città — date in programma, serie ricorrenti e altre gare nelle vicinanze, tutto in un unico posto.
Qui a Lima, se vuoi compagnia, sentire l'adrenalina pre-gara o solo un punto di riferimento facile, si corre a Faurot Park. Stadium Park è un'altra opzione semplice per macinare chilometri tranquilli. Il fiume Ottawa è perfetto per le corse brevi lungo il fiume o per le frazioni di un triathlon. Il sentiero dell'Ottawa River è lungo 49 km con un dislivello di soli 28m, quindi lo usiamo per le uscite lunghe in Z2 senza troppa salita. Il percorso completo arriva a 87 km con 31m di dislivello. Il calendario gare locale si riempie con la Mimosa 5k, la Star Spangled Spectacular, la Girl Can Cook Memorial Run, la Hope in Every Step 5K e la Run to the Moon.

Il Lima YMCA Kewpee Triathlon & Duathlon ha un percorso bici di 15 miglia su strade di campagna ondulate. Le salite sono dove te le aspetti, su quelle ondulazioni e intorno a 19 Hawthorne. Il resto lo usiamo per i base miles, gli intervalli, la preparazione per i crit, per la forma da gran fondo o per le gambe da cyclocross, su strade asfaltate quasi sempre piatte.
La primavera ti dà la preparazione migliore per entrare nel ritmo gara, e il calendario delle uscite del club parte il 25/4. Giugno e luglio sono il cuore dell'estate, con la Moonlight Glow 5K il 20 giugno, la Star Spangled Spectacular e la Rocket to the Moon 5k il 4 luglio, e la Miles for Mutts più la Run to the Moon il 18 luglio. D'estate si parte presto, si corre lungo il fiume e si fa Z2 sulle strade di campagna prima che faccia troppo caldo. L'inverno cambia un po' le cose per entrambi gli sport, e ci teniamo sul pratico con percorsi asfaltati più piatti, giri più corti e un lavoro costante sulla forma fisica.
