Pasifika Festival Charity Walk

Banjo Paterson Park in Lynbrook serves as the starting point for this community walk, with the Maribyrnong River defining the longer route. The Pasifika Festival Charity Walk is part of the Melbourne Pasifika Festival, making it feel less like a distinct event and more like a community gathering with a purpose. Participants can choose an easy walking option or the longer river circuit. The finish line leads back into the festival atmosphere instead of a quiet car park. Attendees can enjoy Polynesian culture, food stalls, arts and crafts, children's activities, cultural dance performances, live music, and the WFWP's mission: to "empower women by providing knowledge, tools, and support" and "foster lasting peace within families, communities, and nations."
