37. Altdorfer Wallenstein Halbmarathon 2026

The Wallenstein Half Marathon takes place in Altdorf bei Nürnberg, Germany, in July. It features a half marathon and a 12 km run, both starting and ending at the Mittelschule Altdorf. TV 1881 Altdorf organizes the event, which has been a fixture on the local running schedule for many years. Entry fees are reasonable, with distinct costs for the 12 km and the half marathon. Both races begin together on Fischbacher Straße and Mühlweg, proceeding past Prethalmühle and crossing the Schwarzach en route to Rasch. At Schleifmühle, 12 km participants turn back towards Altdorf. The half marathon route continues through Hagenhausen, Unterrieden, Puhlheim, and Hegnenberg before its return to the finish. The half marathon route includes approximately 150 meters of elevation gain, with the course alternating between asphalt and field paths as it winds through the villages. The top male and female Altdorf finishers in the half marathon each receive a challenge trophy, which they hold for one year, and their names are inscribed on it.
