Cabestanyenca 2027

La Cabestanyenca begins at Espace Nelson Mandela in Cabestany, a town in the Pyrénées-Orientales. The main 10 km race starts at 10 AM. This is a small annual running event offering a timed and ranked 10 km race, alongside a 5 km option that can be completed as a run or a timed walk without rankings. The longer route follows roads, paths, and vineyard sections just outside town. The shorter distance is designed to be more accessible for walkers and casual runners. Children aged 7 and up have their own races, starting later in the morning. Entry fees are modest: 8 € for the 10 km, 5 € for the 5 km, and 2 € for children. The event also collects funds for Secours Populaire, linking the local race day to a charitable cause.
