Les Collines du Berger begins at Château Saint Hilaire in Coudoux, Bouches-du-Rhône, offering nature races and Nordic walking on the same morning. The event provides runners with two mixed road and path options: the 16 km Elite race featuring 300 m of elevation gain and the 9 km Premium race with 200 m. An 8 km timed Nordic walk is also available, alongside an untimed walk for those preferring a leisurely outing. The longer race commences first, followed by the shorter race and the timed walk.
The route incorporates the climb of the 4 Termes and trails through the local hills, set against the backdrop of the region's Provençal colours. It attracts both licensed and unlicensed runners from across the Bouches-du-Rhône and is part of the Challenge Terre de Mistral, an 11-race local series. Organizers focus on the post-race buffet, featuring homemade food and local products. The event also supports a charitable cause, with two Dunes de l'Espoir goélettes participating and a partnership with Ressource, an association located in Les Milles.
