15th Faethon SkyRace "Apostolos Tsourekasˮ 2026 - SkyRace 23km

The Faethon SkyRace "Apostolos Tsourekas" is a 23 km mountain trail race held in Kokkinopilos, a village in Greece's Larissa region. Taking place in July, the race begins at a high elevation: Kokkinopilos Central Square is situated at 1,115 m above sea level. This marks the 15th edition of the event, organized by the Faethon Race Organizing Committee. The 23 km race is included in the Panhellenic Championship of ITRA. The route forms a loop, with runners starting and finishing in the same village square. Covering 23 km, participants will ascend approximately 1,800 m. The course reaches its highest point at Chotzas peak, 2,586 m. This combination of distance and elevation gain means the race demands significant mountain effort.
